A Miami institution when looking for Cuban food and great hours turn to Versailles.  The menu is huge, the cuisine much more than serviceable and the price is right on. Versailles is a great place to grab a bite after hitting one of the famed Miami dance clubs.
3555 SW 8th St • Miami • Tel 305.445.7614

This Design District hideaway has been gaining popularity and at one time was filled exclusively by local decorators.  Though Charcuterie only serves lunch and is hard to find, the phenomenal French cuisine and great service make it worth the effort.
3612 NE 2nd Ave • Miami • Tel 305.576.7877

Da Leo Trattoria
Location. Location. Location.  While some find the Italian cuisine "pedestrian" there is little debate when it comes to the al fresco dining and people watching. Both are fantastic.
819 Lincoln Rd • Miami Beach • Tel 305.674.0350

Little Havana
One step inside Little Havana and you'll know that it's not about the scene. A long way from the hip hype of SoBe, this authentic Cuban restaurant has been pleasing those in the know for years and years.
12727 Biscayne Blvd • North Miami • Tel 305.899.9069

Hip & Trendy

Blue Door
Perhaps the most chic restaurant on Miami Beach. Chef Claude Troisgros' amazing Nouveau French cuisine is sure to impress the diners in this restaurant located in the Delano Hotel.  Reservation required.
1685 Collins Ave (Delano Hotel) • Miami Beach • Tel 305.674.6400

SoBe rejoice, after honing his skills as Head Chef at L.A.'s Chinois, Chef Michael Schwartz now plates the finest Pan-Asian cuisine on Miami Beach. The service is great, the decor comfortable and the whole experience well worth the hype.
100 Collins Ave • Miami Beach • Tel 305.532.4550

Red Square
We all agree Red Square is a big hit on the shores of South Beach. Chef Barbara Scott brings wonderful, Russian inspired cuisine to South Beach and it shouldn't be missed.
411 Washington Ave • Miami Beach • Tel 305.672.0200

Tantra Restaurant & Lounge
This is Chef Willis Loughhead's attempt at "mood enhancing" or "aphrodisiac" cuisine. While there is no doubt Tantra is one of the trendiest restaurants in Miami Beach, the high prices and rushed service often leave patrons with a headache.
1445 Pennsylvania Ave • Miami Beach • Tel 305.672.4765 •

When you want someone to think you're absolutely fabulous... take them to Touch. Ease past the Velvet ropes that separate you from the minions. Slide into a booth reminiscent of bygone lounge and listen to some of the freshest cuts on the beach. The food and service don't live up to the scene but in SoBe...they rarely do.
910 Lincoln Rd • Miami Beach • Tel 305.532.8003

55 The Restaurant
At first glance, the big game decor of 55 evokes notions of an over the top Surf n' Turf house. The consistent well-prepared cuisine (New American with a Mediterranean twist) was a pleasant surprise as was the service at this South Beach safari.
455 Ocean Dr • Miami Beach • Tel 305.532.1200

Although the cuisine is uninspired and the service snooty (this is South Beach after all), the otherworldly decor, panoramic views off the patio and high-end wine list keep the hipsters flocking back.
1 Ocean Dr • Miami Beach • Tel 305.538.1231

Posh & Pricey

Many South Floridians rate this Coral Gables restaurant as the best around. The “New World” cuisine is always imaginative and executed to perfection. Reservations required.
21 Almeria Ave • Coral Gables • Tel 305.446.6767 •

Osteria Del Teatro
A wonderful cozy South Beach restaurant that offers the best North Italian cuisine the Miami area has to offer. Be sure to make reservations as locals flock to this restaurant nightly.  Reservations required.
1443 Washington Ave • Miami Beach • Tel 305.538.7850

Chef Allen's
Owner Allen Susser was one of the originators of New World cuisine and his culinary artistry is on display nightly at this unassuming Aventura restaurant. Reservations required.
19088 NE 29th Ave • Aventura • Tel 305.935.2900 •

The Palm Restaurant
If it's steak or lobster you're looking for then The Palm in Bay Harbor Island ought to be mentioned. The lobsters are huge. The steaks are wet-aged.  What else could a carnivore want? Reservations recommended.
9650 E Bay Harbor Dr • Bay Harbor Island • Tel 305.868.7256 •
